Book Review: Wings by Aprilynne Pike

Well this book is truly  magical.  Its a story about a mysterious girl who is not quite a girl but she doesn’t know it, and her journey into rediscovery of herself and a whole new world and culture she had forgotten.

Its sweet, its fresh and its even somehow biological in the sense that there is quite a lot of reference to plants, and biology and its links to an underestimated and very mystical magic being which has been recreated thousands of times yet never in this way.

“A remarkable debut” says Stephanie Meyer – author of Twilight

I wouldn’t classify this story as  something similar to Twilight though,  is far less “dark” and it doesnt have as many cliches as Shiver has ( Look at Book review Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater).

A++ I really recomend Wings if you fancy a fresh, easy to read romantic mythological story. .. and, it has a sequel!! Spells.

Watch this spot for more!
