Non-Toxic Nail Fun

Ok I don’t agree with painting kids nails (neither girls or boys) yes I said Boys! since the last debate about Jenny Lyons creative director of J.Crew painted her lil’ boy’s toe nails hot pink and posed infront of a camera for a catalogue. I  know! #random! and totally weird but hey! one the other hand I guess one most allow kids to be creative and have fun with fashion (still, a bit much for me).. But anyway if its your sort of thing and you have a little girl be careful, normal varnishes are full of nasty chemicals, remember what goes on their fingers goes in their mouth!

So for your little fashionista I recommend Piggy Paint, a natural chemical free nail polish formulated for kids… you can visit http://www.piggypaint.com/ I would suggest if having a spa party for your little princess to ask the nail salon or spa if they cater non-toxic nail polish and eco friendly products, we don’t want to start piling up those chemicals from toddler age…

I haven’t seen these little paints in stores yet but perhaps they will be available soon in the mean time you can order online! They are on the expensive side am afraid, at $8.99 each! (considering adult nail polishes can be found from as little as 99cents)…
