Houston, we have no problems! Comicpalooza is here bigger and better than ever, offering the best multi-format pop culture con in the southwest including J-Fashion, cosplay, film festival, literary conference, a code fest, maker space, Mars Rover rides, video and tabletop gaming, BMX stunt show, professional wrestling, roller derby bouts and MUCH MORE!

My son and I are Starwars crazy! (yes, it’s called good parenting people) He is 10 years old and he breathes, eats, and dreams Starwars. So I can’t wait to take him this year! A little boy’s dreamland.

Some of the special guests this year include Sigourney Weaver, known for her lead role in  Aliens (1986), for which she was nominated for the Academy Award Best ActressAlien 3 (1992), and Alien: Resurrection (1997). She is also known for her starring roles in the box-office hits Ghostbusters (1984), Ghostbusters II (1989), and Avatar (2009).

Another special guest I am really looking forward to meeting is the super awesome Sean Patrick Flanery from The Boondock Saints and his “other half” Norman Reedus. I cannot wait for this duo’s reunion (did somebody say, Fangirl moment photo op?) Norman Reedus is also known for his recent role as Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead
