Unapologetically: Embrace your Inner Goddess

“Who is She? She is your power, your Feminine source. Big Mama. The Goddess. The Great Mystery. The web-weaver. The life force. The first time, the twentieth time you may not recognize her. Or pretend not to hear. As she fills your body with ripples of terror and delight. But when she calls you will know you’ve been called. Then it is up to you to decide if you will answer.”  ― Lucy H. Pearce, Burning Woman

Feminine power comes from within. Your inner Goddess is alive and kicking, but everyday life silences her. Don’t forget to be you, unique, unapologetic, crazy, alive.

Unsatisfactory relationships sometimes leave us feeling like we are not enough. Like somehow we couldn’t fulfill someone’s expectations and we are at fault. We do that, us women, we tend to think every failure is our fault. Don’t. Stop the blaming and embrace yourself. Self-love is not selfish, it is necessary. Set an example for others to know the right way to treat you. Grow and let your inner light ignite.

Divine Feminine energy, or Goddess energy, is a subtle yet immensely powerful source of energy in our lives. Without it, we are out of touch with our bodies, our emotions, our dreams, and our mother earth. Without it, we live lives on the surface, pursuing empty goals, ego-centered ambitions and desolate values that are disconnected from the mystery, wonder, and magic of life.

“You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.” – Buddha

Live with intensity. Feel the intensity of your own emotions, for they are Yours. Blocking emotions doesn’t make you stronger, accepting them and dealing with the pain does. Accept and embrace your emotional body, for she is your inner goddess – she is the Source of your Love and your Power. Have you ever been in a situation when someone (Usually a male, usually a partner) tells you that “You are too sensitive”? don’t be ashamed of it, accept it with pride because it’s your inner Goddess showing through. Their “emotional constipation” is not your problem, is theirs.

Without honoring and cultivating the divine feminine in our lives, we feel incomplete and eternally dissatisfied, pursuing paths that are destructive to the planet and toxic to those we love. Without acknowledging and nurturing the feminine energy within us, we are incomplete and our lives feel superficial. And it is then when we come up with ridiculous phrases such as “finding your other half”. We are born whole, we are whole and complete, we don’t need to find our other halves.

Sexual Energy and the Feminine Power

Our sexual energy is our life force – it is the pulse of ecstatic energy moving through our bodies throughout our lives, supporting our health, creativity, and longevity. Don’t ever be afraid to embrace your sexuality, never be ashamed of admitting what you want and what you need.

“Nurturing our bodies through Sacred Sensual Self-Care is a priority for empowered health.”

Honoring who you are on a deep sexual level can be extremely difficult. Even more so when we carry social taboos embedded in us by centuries of ancestral guilt, depravity, and repression. But the truth is that you are a sexual being, and being a sexual being is not “wrong,” “dirty,” or “immoral” as we have been so often taught. Instead, our sexuality carries an immense source of creativity, power, and energy which is a potent force of nature, and literally motivates the majority of life on earth.

“She had power over the most magnificent forces on Earth, but she still didn’t feel like she had power over the most important thing of all—her own heart.” ― Josephine Angelini, Goddess

Let your inner goddess warrior free to roam. Be kind, be the rainbow, be the God damn light.
